A variety of dance classes and workshops are offered for adults. Workshops are available as special events throughout the year and are announced in class and on this website.
Adult Ballet
Adult Ballet is held on Thursday evenings and is focused on technique foundations. The class is intended to help adults cultivate their love of ballet and grow to their best potential. Leotard and tights are preferred, however, we understand that as adults some individuals may prefer yoga pants or other clothing that allows you to move. We recommend Capizio Hanami ballet flats in either canvas or leather. The class syllabus is designed to help beginners feel welcome and comfortable in the first few months and develop into a more intermediate beginner class throughout the year. A performance opportunity is available if there is a quarum to perform in the spring ballet. Performing is never required but always a ton of fun!

Adult Tap
Adult tap classes are held on Fridays and are available for both Beginner and Intermediate (minimum of 2 years recent tap experience) level students. Many of our adult students started in the beginner class and have moved up to intermediate throughout the years. Our adult tap classes are rhythm tap based and focus on technique featuring clean clear sounds. Both classes are built around a sylabus that increases in difficulty throughout the year. Our adult classes are warm and inviting for all while ensuring students are given full instruction to improve over time. A performance opportunity in the June Recital is available. Performing is never required but encouraged for those who feel comfortable have a good time together!
Adult Pilates
Our adult pilates class is open for registration year round and open to all students who wish to work on controlled movements, core strengthening, enhancing flexibility, and learning breathing techniques. Pilates is a mind-body exercise system that focuses on strengthening and lengthening the muscles, improving flexibility, and enhancing posture.
