At Cuppett, we believe following a dress code allows dancers to focus on their technique instead of their clothing. A standard dress code is a part of our class etiquette policy and shows respect for self and others. The safety of our dancers is of utmost importance; proper clothing, secured hair, and no jewelry contributes to both their individual safety and the safety of other dancers. Many items are available at Allegra’s Boutique located in the Main Lobby at Park Street. Stop by the office (Door 143) to be helped in the boutique.

Cover-ups

Outside: Wear cover-ups  over dance attire outside the studio classroom. This can be a t-shirt over a leotard, light weight sweater or jacket, with shorts, skirt or leggings for girls. While it seems normal for dancers to wear a leotard and tights, or shorts/leggings with a leotard in the dance classroom, it is not proper outside.  Crop tops/sports bras with shorts or leggings are not proper dance attire at the studio. Please remember to dress appropriately for class according to the enrollment agreement.
